Greg Santos was born and raised in Montreal.  He has studied at Mount Allison (Sackville, NB), Concordia (Montreal, QC), Columbia (New York, NY) universities, and recently graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School (New York, NY). 

He is the author of the poetry chapbook Oblivion Avenue from Trainwreck Press. His work has appeared in print and online publications such as The Best American Poetry, McSweeney's, Nthposition, Matrix, The Feathertale Review, as a featured "Parliamentary Poem of the Week" selection, Dingers: Contemporary Baseball Writing, The Brandi Wells Review, Ditch, and Six Sentences.  He was a juror for the Quebec Writers' Federation's 2007 A.M. Klein Poetry Prize. 

He currently lives in New Haven, Connecticut. He is a guest writer for The Best American Poetry blog and the poetry editor of pax americana.
